Delivering Excellence in Hospitality Renovation

Our Most Important Goals (MIG's)

1

Partnership

We build and value our partnerships. We operate with transparency, consistency, and character in partnerships with each other, our customers, vendors, subcontractors, owners, the community, and non-profits.

“Elements would not exist if it were not for developing honest, integral partnerships. At the core for us, true partners value loyalty, trust, and a sincere desire for both parties to be successful. When taken seriously, it is fundamental to Elements long term prosperity!”
– Shane Bajema, Director of Development
2

Culture

We are deliberate about creating and maintaining a positive company culture. We strive to be people of high moral character, are intentional about having genuine chemistry and respect for each other and seek to learn and be highly competent at our jobs.

“At Elements, culture isn’t just a buzzword for us—it defines our experience and becomes a part of who we are. With a focus on balance and respect, we enjoy what we do and hold ourselves to the highest standards. It’s not just about getting the job done; it’s about turning every project and our daily grind into something we all genuinely enjoy together!”
– Daniel Flint, Manager of Project Engineering
3

Deliverables

We are intentional about exceeding our customers’ expectations. We value adhering to schedules, budgets, and impacts and expect to deliver high-quality products to all our customers.

“We pay particular attention to our MIG of “Deliverables” in everything we do on projects. We strive to excel in the areas of Impact, Quality, Schedule, and Budget for our clients, to create an atmosphere of success for all parties.  We understand we operate in a typically impactful and invasive industry, disrupting operations for our clients and affecting the guest experience.  When we can limit these impacts for our client, we are able to build lasting, meaningful, and mutually beneficial relationships.”
– Ryan Mee, Director of Projects

Schedule

Revenue management is critical in the hospitality industry. When a property is being renovated, the affected portions must be closed temporarily. We believe in responsibly managing our construction schedules to minimize closure times, protecting our customers from unnecessary revenue deferral.

Budget

We do our best to help our clients anticipate and identify issues during the bidding process, helping with budget planning and due diligence as needed. A project within our client’s budget means all parties did our jobs to prepare the project right.

Quality

High quality is the price of admission in our work. We believe “quality at every step ensures quality at the end,” and ensure our work adheres to applicable standards and specifications, so there is minimal work to detail at punch time.

Impact

Hospitality renovations affect guests’ experiences. We strive to minimize this impact by making our job sites as invisible as possible, and measure our success by asking, “has the project gone virtually unnoticed by the paying guests?” “Has the project gone without incident for the duration?” “Has our team been respectful, professional, safe, and thoughtful in their management and interactions?” If yes, we believe we have successfully minimized the project’s impact to our clients.

4

Risk Management

We are proactive in mitigating company risks. We look to the future and ask each other where we see potential gaps; we are honest and discerning about mitigating those gaps and risks.

“Elements takes pride in mitigating risks not just for us, but also for our customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. We balance strong understanding of the nuanced urgency in hospitality renovation, while ensuring that our actions protect all parties and anticipate common risk factors in our industry.”
